This will probably be the sole restaurant in the city, but there are many of you who know me, and well will appreciate this review since you will end up at St. Charles, IL sooner or later. We have to start with the decor, which is right out of the roaring 20’s. You walk in and really get a feeling that you are walking into a Speakeasy during prohibition. For an appetizer, we started with the Calamari which was enough for 6 people. Not often can you find an appetizer that can feed a table. Choosing my entree was pretty rough since this place has a massive menu with so many great options. After much time, I decided on the Cajun London Broil. Every entree comes with a soup, salad and potatoes. I went with the French Onion Soup, House Salad with French dressing and French Fries. One a side note I just realized that was all French, OK back to the review. If the soup, salad was not enough they brought out a hefty portion for the London broil. As great as it was I was unable to finish the meal. Overall I would say this was a great experience and I def see myself visiting the next time I am in St. Charles.
