It has been a while since my last post. I wish I had a good excuse for my absense because I have actually gone to a few great spots in the meanwhile. Anyway time get back to action.
My parents and I were on the way to Brick Lane Curry House for lunch, when we parked outside Mancora and quickly changed our course. The decision to change was easy being I am a fan of Peruvian chicken, which I frequently have at Pio Pio (review coming soon).
Mancora had a brunch menu with featured many options for 9.95 with an drink of your choice from Mimosa, Bloody Mary or Sangria. In addition they offered their regular during brunch, which was key! I wanted the 1/2 rotisserie chicken which came with salad and a side; baked sweet potatoes in my case; for $8. Talk about a deal. My parents went for the brunch menu and ordered the Salmon Omelette and Pan con Pollo Al Chimmichurri (grilled chicken sandwich with chimmichurri sauce). I got to try a bit of each dish and everything was amazing. The rotisserie chicken was a stand out though; dare I say it is the best Peruvian Rotisserie chicken I have had to date! Those who know me, will not believe it but I may have found a new favorite.
Great meal, I can not wait to go back. Hopefully I can convince these guys to deliver to me!
